Welcome to Owning Your Hair Type! I am so thrilled that you are here! I wanted to introduce myself, welcome you here before we get started. So if you don't know, I'm Alex. I'm a wavy curl coach and have extensive research in wavy curls and hair types in general. I currently own, I say own because that's what I embrace, what I am, and what I have! 2A, 2B, and 2C curl patterns and I have very thick, coarse, low porosity hair. It is kind of a low to medium porosity depending on the parts of my hair. But that's my hair type and I know everything about my hair type, but I also know everything about your hair type. I have literally researched hair type for the past two years and consulted with over 7,000 people on their hair type. I've been pretty much taking out the guesswork for people, and I want to do that for you, but in a deeper way. You getting insight into what's in my brain is the most valuable thing I can give to you. Because you can wake up in the morning and say, "Okay, I know my hair type. I know what it needs. This is probably what styling I should do. These are the types of products I should use." You're going to understand that and just know that intuitively, and it's not going to take you forever to figure out. I'm going to walk you through the steps of how to determine what your hair type is, first and foremost. That includes determining your density, texture, porosity, and curl pattern. Once we get those four aspects, you are going to have a list with your hair type. You'll be able to pinpoint it and find it and get the exact information on your hair type. When it comes in regards to products, styling methods, and even just tips and tricks beyond that. It is going to be insanely helpful to you and you don't have to read up on every hair type. You of course can if you want to. The information is going to be there, BUT you're going to be able to pinpoint what you need, skip all the fluff, and get right to it! This is truly going to help you own your wavy curls in 90 days or less. I am so excited for everything you are about to learn!
